Experience : Unforgettable Day

Hello everyone, I will to tell you about my experience that I never forget in my life while I’m study in University of Gunadarma. For your information, if you study in University of Gunadarma and you took Bachelor degree, the sessions will be held twice. The first session is scientific writing and the second is mini thesis. And now, I will tell you about my session in scientific writing.


Last week, on the 16th of March 2017 my friend and I did a session of scientific writing. It was the first time when I faced by three examiners to conduct the session. I was so nervous to face the examiners because I knew that they would give me some questions after I did my presentation. Finally, I could answer those questions very well and I have been through it. Actually I got afternoon session, but the examiner asked me to step forward earlier. When I finished the session, I felt very happy and very relieved. In the other hand, I was disappointed because my friends did not come up when I'm done hearing. Probably because there was class that they can’t to left at the same time. When I wait and hope, my friends came to give congratulations and some gifts to me. I really did not expect that they would come. I feel very happy for their attendance. On that day I was assigned as a unforgettable day.

 

 

 

 

 

SUBJECT VERB AND COMPLEMENT

The SUBJECT is the word or phrase which controls the verb in the clause, that is to say with which the verb agrees (John is but John and Mary are). If there is no verb, as in John - what an idiot!, or if the verb has a different subject, as in John - I can't stand him!, then 'John' is not considered to be the grammatical subject, but can be described as the 'topic' of the sentence.

A VERB is a kind of word (part of speech) that tells about an action or a state. It is the main part of a sentence: every sentence has a verb. In English, verbs are the only kind of word that changes to show past or present tense.

A COMPLEMENT is a word, phrase or clause that is necessary to complete the meaning of a given expression. Complements are often also arguments (i.e., expressions that help complete the meaning of a predicate). There are indicative as well as non-indicative complements in languages. Non-indicative complements follow the appropriate complementizers. Indicative complements do not follow complementizers, but instead are included with special markers and clauses.

EXAMPLE :

1. I visited my grand mother in the village lash month. 
2. We need to eat foods everyday. 
3. It makes me remember about you. 
4. We are talking together in the garden. 
5. My mother always telling about the story of timun mas everynight.
